Primary Responsibilities:
- Working collaboratively as part of a team.
- Leading cases. and represent clients and businesses in civil litigation and other legal proceedings
- Collaborate with clients and their advisors to develop strategies designed to meet specific goals.
- Draft and file briefs, motions, and other necessary judicial pleadings.
- Interview and depose witnesses and facilitate the discovery process.
- Supervise and direct mediation sessions and offer effective legal advice.
- Manage multiple clients, cases and legal activities that carry varying deadlines.
- Engage in business development, including professional organization involvement and writing.
- Supervise paralegals, staff, and team members as your role progresses.

Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
- Successful passing of the bar exam
- Active member in good standing of the Bar or currently eligible to become licensed, to practice law in Nebraska.
- 2-5 years of relevant experience, such as motion practice, discovery dispute and trial preparation along with a strong interest in litigation.
- Strong work ethic, drive, keen attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a small team environment.
Preferred Experience:
- 7+ years of specific litigation/trial experience.
- Excellent academic and professional credentials.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
