Description:
Insurance Lawyers is seeking an experienced attorney to join our quickly expanding multi-jurisdictional firm. We are looking for an individual who has 5+ years of litigation experience and must have the ability to practice in Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, South Dakota, Colorado, and/or Arizona. The ideal candidate will manage litigation cases, resolve legal disputes on behalf of clients, and primarily focus their practice in Insurance Defense; Workers' Compensation Defense, and/or General Liability.Additional Roles & Responsibilities:
- Analyze complex legal and factual issues, conduct extensive, well-reasoned legal research, independently develop and present defense strategies on behalf of clients.
- Prepare complex pleadings, written discovery, depositions, motions, and briefs in support of defense strategies.
- Provide effective and timely communications, information, legal advice, and other services to clients and claims on legal and factual issues.
- Communicate with the court, witnesses, opposing counsel, and co-council in a manner consistent with established office procedures.
- Responsible for prompt, efficient, and effective deposition of assigned cases.
- Assist in preparing and presenting witnesses and evidence at trial, judicial and administrative hearings and alternative dispute resolutions.
- Candidates must have the ability to manage multiple deadlines, be highly organized, have strong written and verbal communication skills, a willingness to learn and collaborate and an excellent work ethic.
