Description:
A Full-Service Law Firm has an opening in the Seattle office for an associate in the Litigation Department with four to six years of commercial litigation experience, ideally also with clerkship experience and/or complex commercial litigation experience. Insurance bad faith and coverage litigation experience a plus and desired. We are not currently accepting resumes from search firms for this position at this time.Qualifications: Juris Doctorate (JD) required. Must be licensed to practice law in the State of Washington.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Strong research skills, writing skills, and academic record are required.
- Clerkship experience and/or trial experience is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic litigation team.
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment including, but not limited to computers, telephones, printers, and copiers.
Physical Requirements:
Sedentary work: Exertion of physical strength to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects up to 10 pounds. Work involves sitting most of the time. Walking and standing is often necessary in carrying out job duties.
