Seattle Construction Defect Attorneys is seeking a motivated litigation attorney with 2 to 8 years of litigation experience to manage our busy collection and lien foreclosure practice on behalf of national material suppliers and local general contractors and subcontractors.About Us:

We represent homeowners, small business owners, commercial landlords, contractors, material suppliers, and condominium and homeowner associations.
Responsibilities:
- Draft mechanic and materialmen liens, bond claims, and related notices.
- Draft demand letters.
- Draft pleadings.
- Draft discovery requests and responses.
- Conduct depositions.
- Conduct site visits.
- Draft and argue motions.
- Research and confirm title and property information.
- Advise clients regarding lien, bond claim, security, and credit management procedures.
- Trial preparation and support.
- Attend and represent clients at mediations and arbitrations.
- Attend and represent clients at trial.
- Maintain accurate time records.
Requirements:
- Licensed to practice in Washington and in good standing in all states where the applicant is licensed to practice
- 2 to 6 years of litigation experience.
- Solid academic credentials.
- Excellent research and communication skills.
- Desire to grow with our busy practice.
- Prior experience with collection matters is a plus.
