Findling Law is a respected and growing Michigan divorce and family law firm seeking a smart, motivated Associate Attorney to join our team.We represent clients during some of the most challenging moments of their lives. We are looking for an attorney who shares those values and wants to develop into an exceptional family law practitioner.
About the Position:
This role offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced family law attorneys while building strong litigation and negotiation skills. You will handle meaningful client work and court appearances while receiving mentorship and support from a collaborative team.
Divorce or family law experience is preferred but not required. We are primarily looking for a sharp thinker, strong writer, and someone who cares deeply about clients.

Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in divorce and family law matters
- Draft pleadings, motions, and legal correspondence
- Conduct legal research and prepare case strategy
- Appear in court hearings and conferences
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
- Participate in discovery and case preparation
- Work collaboratively with attorneys and staff
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Licensed (or eligible to become licensed) to practice law in Michigan
- Excellent writing and analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines
- Divorce or family law experience preferred but not required
