The Financial Institutions Group at Warner is growing, and we are seeking an experienced Banking Attorney. Our team has a strong foundation of talented attorneys, and we are looking to add another professional who will contribute to our ongoing growth and client service excellence.

About the Opportunity:
We are seeking a senior-level attorney who brings extensive knowledge of banking laws and regulations, along with a proven ability to manage complex transactional and compliance matters across the banking and financial services industry. Responsibilities include representing banks and other financial institutions in the following matters: mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings and regulation, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, including federal and state regulatory applications and general corporate and banking matters.

About You:
Qualifications:
  • J.D. from an accredited law school and admission in good standing to at least one U.S. jurisdiction
  • 7+ years of experience providing legal advice to banks and other financial institutions
  • Significant background in the following areas: M&A, securities offerings and regulation ('33 Act and '34 Act), corporate governance, regulatory compliance and general corporate and banking matters
  • Proven ability to lead and support transaction teams, build client trust, and foster long-term relationships
  • Exceptional communication, responsiveness, and collaboration skills
