Join our dynamic legal team as an Associate Attorney specializing in Domestic Relations, where you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive legal services related to family law matters. Duties
  • Manage a diverse caseload involving divorce, child custody, visitation rights, spousal support, and related family law issues.
  • Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Lexis+AI to support case strategies and stay current on evolving laws.
  • Draft and review legal documents including pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and court filings with precision and clarity.
  • Advocate for clients in court proceedings, mediation, and negotiations to achieve favorable outcomes.
  • Collaborate with clients to gather pertinent information, explain legal options clearly, and develop tailored case plans.
  • Assist in discovery processes by preparing interrogatories, requests for production, and analyzing evidence.
  • Maintain meticulous case records and ensure compliance with all procedural requirements within the law office environment

Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school with active bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction.
  • Demonstrated experience or strong interest in Family Law; familiarity with related areas is a plus.
  • Proficiency in legal research platforms including LexisNexis and Lexis+AI; ability to analyze complex legal issues efficiently.
  • Excellent writing skills with a focus on clear legal drafting and persuasive advocacy.
  • Strong negotiation skills to facilitate settlement discussions effectively.
  • Prior legal administrative experience preferred to manage case files and documentation accurately.
  • Experience with case management software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Office 365, and Windows-based systems.
  • Experience with the CLIO case management system is a plus.
  • Knowledge of litigation procedures and courtroom protocols essential for effective representation. Pay: $55,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
