Job Overview:
Spiro Harrison & Nelson ("SH&N") is a boutique law firm headquartered in New Jersey with offices in Montclair, Red Bank, New York City and Miami. SH&N is seeking a trusts and estates attorney with 4+ years of relevant experience to join its expanding team in Montclair or Red Bank, New Jersey. The attorney will work closely with the firm's attorneys and staff in our growing trusts and estates practice, while working in a supportive and collegial environment.

Duties:

Drafting basic and complex estate planning documents
Handling all aspects of estate and trust administrations
Preparing estate and trust accountings and tax returns
Conducting legal research
Drafting orders to show cause, motions, briefs, and correspondences for relevant litigated matters
Presenting arguments in court
Interacting directly with clients, adversaries, and third-parties

Qualifications:

Excellent research, writing, and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail, good judgment, a strong work ethic, and a positive attitude
4+ years of relevant trusts and estates experience
Litigation and/or tax experience is a plus
LL.M. in Taxation is a plus
Admitted to the New Jersey bar; admission to the New York bar and/or Florida bar is a plus
