Description:
We are a boutique U.S. immigration law firm seeking an experienced Immigration Attorney to support a busy employment and family-based immigration practice. This role is ideal for an attorney who is strong on execution, detail-oriented, and comfortable independently handling filings.Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and file H-1B petitions (cap, cap-exempt, amendments, extensions, transfers, new employment)
- Draft and manage PWD, PERM labor certification cases, including recruitment and audit responses, I-140s
- Prepare and file family-based applications (AOS, I-130, and other related filings)
- Handle O-1 / O-2 petitions
- Draft USCIS responses (RFEs, NOIDs, NOIRs)
- Communicate directly with clients regarding case status and document collection
- Maintain organized digital case files and meet strict filing deadlines
Required Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school or its equivalent
- Active U.S. state bar license (any state)
- Minimum 2–4 years of U.S. employment & family-based immigration experience
- Strong drafting skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
- Comfort handling multiple matters with competing deadlines
- Ability to work full-time from the Parsippany office
