What We're Looking For:
An American Flooring Manufacturer Company is seeking a self-motivated and pragmatic Litigation Counsel to join our legal team, reporting to the Deputy General Counsel - Litigation. The successful candidate will be a team player, entrepreneurial, and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment. You will actively manage and oversee litigation, including primary responsibility for litigating employment matters in federal court and managing a portfolio of insured litigation.

What You'll Do:

You will have responsibility for assigned litigation matters, including case strategy development and execution, in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
You will represent the company in Georgia employment matters in federal court as well as smaller litigation matters, including inquiries, subpoenas, and other third-party requests for information.
You will manage outside counsel for certain litigation matters, including providing strategic guidance, case management, and coordinating internally with business teams to gather relevant information.
You will provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on litigation-related matters, including risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
You will maintain effective communication with insurance carriers and other third parties.

Qualifications:

J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and current active license to practice law in Georgia and able to practice in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.
5+ years of experience in litigation at a law firm, government, or in-house.
Employment litigation experience highly preferred.
Federal clerkship preferred.
Trial experience preferred.
