Position Summary:
We are seeking a versatile and strategic Corporate Lawyer to join our legal team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive legal support on a diverse range of business matters, including contract management, protecting the legal interests of our organization, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

You will act as a key legal advisor to various business units and stakeholders, ensuring that our business operations align with current laws while minimizing legal risk and supporting strategic growth.

This position will sit out of our Peachtree Corners, Georgia Corporate Office on a Hybrid 3/2 schedule and reports to the Chief Legal Officer.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate a high volume of commercial agreements, including leases, vendor services, employment contracts, software technology, non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), and licensing agreements.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Monitor and ensure compliance with federal, state, and industry-specific regulations (e.g., data privacy or labor laws).
  • Transactional Support: Assist with mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and financing rounds, including conducting due diligence and preparing closing documents.
  • Risk Mitigation: Identify potential legal liabilities in new projects or business deals and develop proactive strategies to protect the company's interests.
  • Internal Policy Compliance: Overseeing internal policies and ensuring they adhere to legal guidelines.
  • Internal Advisory: Provide training and clear legal guidance to executive leadership and staff on legal issues affecting their respective business units.
  • Strategic Legal Analysis: Developing and implementing legal strategies to protect the company's interests.
  • Continuing Education: Staying up to date on changes in laws and regulations that may impact the company.

Experience & Education:
  • Education: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Licensing: Active member in good standing with the State Bar in the relevant jurisdiction.
  • Experience: Minimum of 4–5 years of experience in corporate law, preferably with a mix of law firm and in-house experience.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of corporate and business law, and contract principles.
