The Law Offices of John Salazar, P.C. is interviewing for an associate attorney to manage our pre-litigation department. We seek conscientious, motivated, and organized candidates with a minimum of 1-2 years of personal injury law experience.Job Overview:
In this role, the candidate will be expected to monitor all cases within the pre-litigation department, including maintaining a consistent and efficient workflow within each state of the department, and assisting in settling and moving cases. They will also be responsible for reviewing files for completeness and assisting with the handling of files. In addition to case work, the supervisor is expected to manage personnel and assist with questions regarding specific cases.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Managing department personnel
- Initial case reviews
- Demand review
- Case Review and Monitoring
- Working up cases that are not feasible to file in litigation
- Reviewing withdraw cases
- Attending recorded statements
- Maintaining effective and professional communication both interoffice and with representatives from outside the firm through various mediums (e.g., phone, email, etc.)
- Assisting with firm duties outside the scope of the pre-litigation department as requested or needed to support the betterment of the firm overall.
