The Labor & Employment practice group is seeking an experienced mid- to senior-level associate to join our Los Angeles office. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of employment litigation experience, including single-plaintiff matters and wage and hour class actions. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney interested in a path to partnership and who is eager to work with a collaborative team, contribute to the growth of the practice, and work with engaging clients on sophisticated matters all within a friendly office community.The successful candidate will have excellent writing and analytical skills, experience managing multiple cases, and the ability to serve as a lead on litigation matters. This includes supervising junior associates and staff and acting as a client contact. Candidates should demonstrate strong project management skills and the ability to independently manage cases from inception through resolution. Deposition and/or courtroom experience is a plus. Candidates must also have strong academic credentials from a nationally recognized law school and be licensed to practice in California. $325,000 - $435,000. This represents the presently-anticipated low and high end of Reed Smith's pay range for this position. Actual pay may vary based on various factors, including but not limited to location and experience.
