We are currently seeking a skilled Legal Research Associate to join our fully remote team. ⸻Position Summary: The Legal Research Associate will support our attorneys by conducting in-depth legal research on immigration law issues, drafting legal memoranda and briefs, and assisting with case preparation and organization. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong legal research and writing background and an interest in immigration law. ⸻
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive legal research, regulations, case law, and policy.
- Draft high-quality legal briefs, memoranda, and supporting documentation for a variety of immigration matters.
- Maintain and update case details in case management software.
- Assist attorneys with preparation of complex immigration filings and client documentation.
- Stay current with legal developments and changes in immigration law. ⸻
Requirements: Juris Doctor (J.D.) and NY Bar passed candidate. 1-2years of experience in a legal research and writing role. Prior experience with legal research platforms (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis). Demonstrated experience preparing legal briefs and memoranda. Excellent writing, analytical, and organizational skills. Experience in immigration law strongly preferred. Must be authorized to work in the United States. ⸻
