The Entertainment and Media practice group is looking to hire an Associate with 3-4 years of experience to join our Century City or New York office. The position offers significant opportunities in film, television, video game and audio finance, development, production and distribution, book publishing and entertainment industry related business matters. The successful candidate will have broad film, television, new media, audio, and general entertainment transactional experience including the preparation, review and negotiation of acquisition, development, production, distribution and financing (debt and equity) agreements and due diligence investigations of entertainment industry assets and provide advice on intellectual property rights relevant in the industry.Job Requirements:
- Must be admitted in CA or NY
- Must have 3-4 years of relevant experience
- The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to effectively manage small to mid-sized matters with moderate partner supervision and to take responsibility for portions of larger, more complex matters, and have strong oral, writing and organizational skills.
