Description:We are looking for a Family Law Attorney with 3–8 years of Florida family law litigation experience who is ready to step into a high-accountability, high-autonomy environment and own a demanding caseload from inception through trial.
You will manage complex domestic relations matters, contested custody, high-asset property division, modification proceedings, and dependency intersections, with the support of a dedicated COO, elite administrative team, and purpose-built operational infrastructure. You will not babysit your own workflow. You will litigate.

Responsibilities:
- Independently manage a sophisticated family law caseload from client engagement through trial and post-judgment proceedings
- Draft and argue motions, pleadings, discovery, and settlement proposals to a consistently high standard
- Lead client consultations with a focus on converting qualified prospects to retained clients and managing client expectations with clarity
- Strategically cross-serve domestic relations clients into estate planning and related transactional matters
- Communicate proactively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel, without requiring administrative follow-up
- Operate natively inside the firm's cloud-based practice management system, digital portals, and automated document workflows
- Maintain billing discipline and meet established productivity benchmarks
- Uphold the standards, brand, and culture of the Law Office of Erin Morse in every client and court interaction
- Draft pleadings, motions, contracts, marital settlement agreements, judgements, and orders for a high volume of cases
- Organize and maintain client files to ensure they are kept current
- Help solve legal problems for clients through analyzing the situation, understanding their needs, and creating a strategic plan of action
- Ensure clients are effectively represented at court hearings as needed
- Work closely with paralegals and senior partners to ensure swift action through the civil litigation process
Qualifications:
- Has been first chair in at least 1-2 trials in the last year
- Florida Bar Membership: Active and in good standing. No exceptions
- Litigation Exposure: Must include high-conflict custody matters, contested hearings, discovery management, and trial preparation. GAL, dependency, or psychological evaluation experience is a significant plus
- Consultation Conversion: Comfortable conducting consultations that inform and move qualified clients forward into representation
- 4-year degree with a legal background and J.D. degree are necessary for this position
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, especially in highly stressful and emotional situations
- Experience at a legal firm working on family law and real estate issues (determining marital property) for at least 1-2 years is required
