What you will do:
Attorneys at Kiernan Trebach handle a broad range of civil litigation matters and are responsible for:

Managing cases from inception through resolution, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation
Drafting motions, briefs, and legal memoranda
Taking and defending depositions
Appearing in court, hearings, and mediations
Communicating with clients, opposing counsel, and courts
Developing case strategies and providing legal analysis
Collaborating with attorneys and support staff

Experience Levels & Qualifications

Entry-Level Attorney (0–4 Years)

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Active bar admission in at least one relevant jurisdiction
Strong legal research and writing skills
Interest in civil litigation and insurance defense
Ability to work collaboratively and manage assigned tasks

Mid-Level Attorney (4–9 Years)

4+ years of civil litigation and/or insurance defense experience
Experience handling cases from inception through resolution
Strong motion practice and deposition experience
Ability to manage a caseload independently
Experience with insurance coverage, general liability, or related practice areas preferred

Senior-Level Attorney (10+ Years)

10+ years of civil litigation experience
Demonstrated ability to independently manage complex litigation
Significant experience in areas such as construction litigation, insurance defense, or coverage matters
Strong leadership, client management, and case strategy skills
Trial experience preferred
