- Ideal (but not required) experience includes familiarity with a range of regulatory, transactional, and operational matters impacting providers in the health care industry.
- Specific experience in federal regulatory, state licensure, corporate governance and operations, fraud and abuse compliance, Certificate of Public Need, and interacting with Virginia healthcare agencies is helpful but not essential.
- Open to considering strong candidates who pride a strong work ethic and team collaboration and would be willing to shift practice focus to health care.
- Fundamental qualities include attention to detail, ownership of work, collaborative disposition, and willingness to learn and put in the effort.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills likewise are required to perform the job well.
- Candidates must be currently licensed in Virginia, be able to immediately waive into Virginia, or be a member of the bar in one or more US Jurisdictions and willing to sit for the Virginia bar.
