Description:

Haynes Boone is seeking a junior to mid-level Associate (2–4 years of experience) to join our Restructuring Group in New York. This position offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated domestic and cross-border restructuring matters, including in-court and out-of-court proceedings, distressed situations, and complex workouts.

The ideal candidate will have substantive experience at a peer law firm handling bankruptcy, restructuring, and distressed situations on behalf of a variety of stakeholders including debtors, creditors, lenders, investors, asset acquirors, boards, and private credit providers. Experience with Chapter 11 proceedings, out-of-court restructurings, LME's and credit agreements, and insolvency-related litigation is strongly preferred.

  • Familiarity with Chapter 11 proceedings, out-of-court restructurings, workouts, and related litigation.
  • Strong drafting, analytical, and research skills.
  • Excellent academic credentials and writing ability.
  • Admission to New York State Bar.
