Personal Injury Lawyers is currently seeking a dynamic and aggressive Workers' Compensation Attorney to join our team in our DC or Fairfax, Virginia offices.As a key member of our team, you will be provided with a high volume of cases, with an extremely competitive compensation model. We are looking for a candidate who is eager to make a difference and passionate about injured workers' rights and helping the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle a full caseload of Workers' Comp. cases, from opening new files to creating litigation plans
- Autonomously manage a large volume of files, ensuring timely and efficient handling
- Conduct thorough reviews of incoming correspondence and medical records
- Engage in discovery processes, make court appearances, and actively participate in trials
- Maintain exceptional client interaction throughout the legal process
- Travel to various commissions, courts, and conferences as needed
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in handling Workers' Compensation cases (2+ years desired)
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with colleagues
- Must be licensed in DC and/or VA (or able to waive in); Maryland licensed a plus.
