The Platta Law Firm, PLLC is a well-established plaintiff-side litigation firm in New York City seeking an experienced Workers' Compensation Attorney to join our growing Workers' Compensation Department.

This is a full-time role for an attorney with at least 4 years of NY Workers' Compensation experience who is comfortable managing cases independently and wants to focus on high-quality advocacy within a structured, professional firm environment.

The Role:

Handle Workers' Compensation cases from intake through hearing and resolution
Appear before the New York Workers' Compensation Board
Advise injured workers regarding benefits, medical treatment, and case strategy
Draft legal submissions, briefs, and memoranda
Prepare cases for hearings and negotiate settlements where appropriate
Work closely with senior attorneys and experienced support staff

What We're Looking For:

Admitted to practice in New York
Minimum 4 years of Workers' Compensation experience
Comfortable appearing at WCB hearings independently
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Organized, reliable, and professional in managing a caseload
A genuine commitment to representing injured workers
