Description:
This is a full-time, on-site role located in West Palm Beach, FL for a Trusts and Estates Associate Attorney. The Associate will handle various tasks including: client intake and overall estate assessments; conducting, summarizing, and presenting legal research; drafting and reviewing estate planning documents; preparing, filing, and managing probate and administration proceedings in Florida probate courts; providing legal advice to trust and estate fiduciaries; and representing clients in fiduciary litigation. The role requires excellent communication skills, comfort with client-facing interactions, and the ability to manage and advance multiple projects simultaneously.Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in Trust and Estate Law, Tax, Real Estate, or related practice areas.
- Florida Bar license and excellent academic credentials required.
- Litigation experience preferred.
- Legal research and writing skills.
- Proven ability to manage client relationships and prioritize tasks in a collaborative environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including confidence communicating with clients, courts, and other counsel.
- Attention to detail in preparation of court pleadings, IRS forms, and other official filings.
- Ability to independently organize project timelines and track deadlines and open tasks.
- A "What's Next?" ability to proactively and independently move matters forward.
