Description:

This is a full-time, on-site role located in West Palm Beach, FL for a Trusts and Estates Associate Attorney. The Associate will handle various tasks including: client intake and overall estate assessments; conducting, summarizing, and presenting legal research; drafting and reviewing estate planning documents; preparing, filing, and managing probate and administration proceedings in Florida probate courts; providing legal advice to trust and estate fiduciaries; and representing clients in fiduciary litigation. The role requires excellent communication skills, comfort with client-facing interactions, and the ability to manage and advance multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications:

3-5 years of experience in Trust and Estate Law, Tax, Real Estate, or related practice areas.
Florida Bar license and excellent academic credentials required.
Litigation experience preferred.
Legal research and writing skills.
Proven ability to manage client relationships and prioritize tasks in a collaborative environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including confidence communicating with clients, courts, and other counsel.
Attention to detail in preparation of court pleadings, IRS forms, and other official filings.
Ability to independently organize project timelines and track deadlines and open tasks.
A "What's Next?" ability to proactively and independently move matters forward.
