Description: Fox Rothschild has an opening in multiple offices for a Trademark Associate in our Intellectual Property Department. The ideal candidate will have two to three years of trademark prosecution experience. This is an excellent opportunity for an associate who thrives in a fast-paced IP environment and wants to develop deep expertise in trademark and copyright law while gaining exposure to high-profile matters. We are not currently accepting resumes from search firms for this position.Qualifications: Juris Doctorate (JD) required. Must be licensed to practice in state where the office resides.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Strong academic record and excellent written and oral communication skills required.
- Experience with trademark prosecution and portfolio management, enforcement, clearance, and counseling preferred.
- Some experience with trademark and copyright litigation and/or with proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board preferred.
- Law firm experience preferred.
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment including, but not limited to computers, telephones, printers, and copiers.
Physical Requirements:
Sedentary work: Exertion of physical strength to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects up to 10 pounds. Work involves sitting most of the time. Walking and standing is often necessary in carrying out job duties.
