Description:
The Atlanta office of Reed Smith is seeking a Mid-Level associate to join the Technology Transactions group. Candidates should have 4-5 years of experience with corporate and commercial matters involving technology and intellectual property, including licensing and analysis, protection of trade secrets and privacy, artificial intelligence counseling, and development, manufacturing, supply, distribution and service agreements. Candidates should also have significant experience evaluating and advising on IP and tech issues that arise in general corporate transactions, such as merger and acquisition, carve-out and spin off, and private equity. Such issues may include diligence related to chain of title, inbound and outbound licenses, open-source software, artificial intelligence, and US data processing matters, as well as assistance with relevant transaction documents. Candidates must be an active member of the Georgia bar.$265,000 - $365,000. This represents the presently-anticipated low and high end of Reed Smith's pay range for this position. Actual pay may vary based on various factors, including but not limited to location and experience.
