McGuire Wood & Bissette, P.A., a medium-sized firm located in the beautiful city of Asheville, NC, is seeking a talented professional like you to join our team.About the Position: MWB has an immediate opening for a tax attorney to join our growing Corporate, Trusts, Estates, & Elder Law practice groups. Qualified candidates should have a CPA license, LLM in taxation, or 3 plus years of relevant tax planning experience. The candidate must have at least five years of experience in estate planning, tax planning, and business succession planning. Candidates should have excellent communication skills, dedication to client service, strong knowledge of the tax code and associated planning strategies, organizational skills, attention to detail, problem solving ability, and desire to assist individuals and families with tax matters including complex estate planning and business succession matters. Annual billable hour expectation is 1,300 in addition to substantial involvement in the community.

Qualifications:
- All candidates should be licensed to practice in North Carolina or eligible to waive into North Carolina Bar.
- CPA or LLM in Taxation preferred.
- At least three years of experience in estate planning, tax planning and business succession planning.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Commitment to client service and community involvement.
