McMichael Taylor Gray, LLC is seeking a Bankruptcy Attorney licensed to practice law and in good standing in North Carolina and applicable Federal bankruptcy courts.

Requirements:
Responsibilities:

Prepare and review motions for relief from stay for Chapter 7 and Chapter 13s, objections to Chapter 13 plans
Chapter 11 experience and adversary matters experience a plus
Responses to motions to value, oppositions to objections to claim, review and interpret all documents (legal & otherwise) deed of trusts, notes, assignments, property title, dockets, pleadings, etc.
Respond to court notifications and inquiries received from clients, debtors and debtors' attorneys

Requirements:

Minimum of three years of bankruptcy experience representing creditors in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy matters
Admitted to practice and in good standing in North Carolina and all federal bankruptcy courts
Admitted to practice in other states a plus
Experience in drafting pleadings, making court appearances, and case law research
Must be able to proficiently handle appearances, all aspects of creditor representation with minimal or no supervision
Excellent leadership skills
Excellent communication and organization abilities
Strong work ethic with the ability to balance and prioritize high volume workload
