MVA is seeking a Swaps & Derivatives Associate with 1-4 years of experience to join our growing transactional practice in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate will have meaningful experience advising financial institutions, corporations, investment funds, and other sophisticated market participants on derivatives transactions and related regulatory matters.

The associate will:

Advise clients on a broad range of derivatives and structured finance transactions.
Draft, negotiate, and review ISDA Master Agreements, schedules, credit support documentation, confirmations, and other derivatives related agreements.
Draft, negotiate, and review Master Repurchase Agreements and Master Securities Agreements , and other securities related agreements.
Draft, negotiate, and review Master Trading Agreements related to commodities.
Advise clients regarding swaps, options, forwards, futures, and other derivative products.
Counsel clients regarding applicable derivatives regulations and compliance considerations.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and contribute to the continued growth of the practice.
