Description:

A National Class-Action & Complex Litigation Law Firm is currently seeking a Staff Attorney Manager for its office in Seattle, WA.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Manage large-scale document review projects from end-to-end, including working with case teams to develop document review protocols, processes and workflow, onboarding review attorneys, coordinating training, implementing document review assignments, performance management, QC and maintenance of rating and coding accuracy, managing review memo process, managing implementation of second-level deliverables such as chronologies, witness kits, and Storybuilder.
  • Consult with case teams regarding review of incoming productions to confirm compliance with Stipulated ESI Protocols and Protective Orders.
  • Consult with case teams regarding development of ESI Protocols and Stipulated Protective Orders.
  • Consult with case teams regarding implementation of Everlaw's Technology Assisted Review (TAR) tools such as Predictive Coding and Clustering.
  • Consult with case teams regarding creation of effective search terms and implementation of complex database searches based on search terms, including preparation of search term reports and implementation of review assignments for various projects, including deposition preparation and targeted issue reviews,.
  • Work with Litigation Technology Specialists on initiatives related to in-house training and development of processes and protocols related to Everlaw an e-discovery.
  • Work with Litigation Technology Specialists and Everlaw contacts to maintain positive relationship and implement feature requests that will benefit the firm and focus on plaintiffs' substantive document review tools.
  • Assist with evaluating document reviewers productivity and writing staff attorney performance feedback.

Qualifications:
  • J.D. with 5-7 years of civil litigation/discovery experience in federal court
  • Familiarity with electronic discovery issues
  • Highly accomplished academic and employment credentials
  • Exceptional analytical skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Superior writing, drafting and oral advocacy skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, planning, verbal and written communication skills
  • Results oriented, self-starter, with a high level of initiative
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with internal and external contacts at all levels
  • Ability to work independently, shift focus, adapt to changing priorities, and maintain patience in high pressure situations
  • Must manage highly confidential information with professionalism and unquestionable integrity
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel)
