Ligori & Ligori is seeking an experienced attorney in Social Security Disability (SSD) and Workers' Compensation to join our growing Tampa / Orlando office and help us expand into new area of LAW.

The ideal candidate will be skilled in navigating trial-level advocacy — from filing claims and managing hearings before Administrative Law Judges, to representing injured workers in workers' compensation claims. This role requires a strong courtroom presence, negotiation skills, and the ability to manage high caseloads while keeping client service at the forefront.

We strongly prefer candidates with an existing book of business and the ability to expand their practice under our brand.

Compensation & Benefits:
  • Base/Draw Pay: $80,000 annually.
  • Commission: Performance-based (earning potential $300K+).
  • (Full commission structure discussed during interview — top earnings require commitment and results.)
  • Life Insurance: $100,000 policy fully paid by the firm.
  • Paid Time Off:
    • 1 week after 6 months.
    • 2 weeks after 1 year.
    • 3 weeks after 2 years.

Key Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience handling Social Security Disability (SSD/SSI) and Florida Workers' Compensation cases.
  • Existing book of business are strongly preferred.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
  • Proven trial experience before Florida JCCs.
  • Strong knowledge of SSA rules, procedures, and appeals process as well as Florida Workers' Compensation law.
  • Excellent legal writing, negotiation, and oral advocacy skills.
  • Ability to manage a high-volume caseload with accuracy and efficiency.
  • J.D. and active Florida Bar membership in good standing required.
