Chesney, Nicholas & Brower, LLP, is an expanding civil litigation defense firm based in Syosset, NY. Since 1985, our firm has represented clients in all aspects of civil litigation, primarily focusing on general negligence, Labor Law/construction, motor vehicle and professional/medical malpractice.We are currently looking for an attorney with a minimum of 7 years defense litigation experience, having proficiency with lawsuits involving the New York State Labor Law/construction site accidents.

Salary Range: $150,000 - $175,000 (Experience contingent). We also offer generous year end bonuses.
Litigation Associate Attorney Responsibilities:
- Manage a full caseload from inception through resolution generally covering premises liability and New York Labor Law;
- Draft pleadings, discovery, motions, and case strategy documents;
- Conduct and defend depositions;
- Represent clients in court, mediations, and settlement conferences;
- Collaborate with partners on trial prep, legal strategy, and client communication;
- Prepare clients and witnesses for depositions and trial testimony;
- Ensure timely case progression and meet all litigation deadlines and billing requirements.
