A Healthcare Company is seeking a senior anti-corruption attorney to serve in the Corporate Compliance Department. The Department oversees and manages the Company's Global Compliance Program.

In this role, the successful candidate will:
  • Possess an in-depth knowledge of FCPA and other anti-bribery regulations, import/export regulations, trade sanctions and anti-human trafficking compliance as applicable to a global health care company. Knowledge of other regulatory, compliance, and legal issues related to health care including (1) FDA Regulations (and other international equivalents); (2) ICH-GxP requirements; (3) global medical device and in vitro diagnostic registration requirements; (4) transparency laws; and (5) human biological specimen regulations.
  • Advance and oversee foreign third party due diligence processes, including post-contract monitoring, risk evaluations, and review.
  • Manage internal and third-party risk assessment processes.
  • Provide day-to-day regulatory counseling to the business on anti-corruption, trade sanctions and human trafficking compliance, as well as Company compliance policies.
  • Promote, enhance and sustain a training program related to the global compliance program.
  • Participate in acquisition due diligence and integration related to the regulatory compliance program.
  • Conduct complex internal investigations related to violation of Labcorp's Code of Conduct and/or the laws and regulations in countries where Labcorp operates.
  • Monitor changes in regulations and industry best practices and implement new policies and processes, as needed.
  • Collaborate with and manage outside counsel and consultants, as appropriate.

To fulfill this role the candidate must possess the following:
  • J.D. from an ABA accredited law school
  • 5-7 years of overall legal expertise (law firm or in-house), preferably with a multi-national company and/or law firm
  • Admission to a U.S. state Bar
  • Experience with conducting third party due diligence and conducting investigations.
  • Ability to prioritize and undertake mission critical tasks in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; experience with cross-cultural communications a plus
  • Background in healthcare, pharmaceutical or clinical trials preferred
