Job Summary and Qualifications
The Senior Counsel Technology role serves as legal counsel related to any matters in the technology space.
In this role you will:
- Draft and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements including software licensing, SaaS, cloud services, IT infrastructure and service agreements
- Work with cross-functional teams, e.g. Security, Privacy and Product to resolve issues in commercial agreements and with product implementation
- Provide counsel and guidance to corporate constituents for AI and emerging technology initiatives
- Support continuous improvements of forms, policies and processes to help streamline, simplify and automate our contracting processes
- 10+ years of practicing attorney experience with at least 3 years in an in-house setting required
- Cloud services, SaaS or software licensing experience required
- HIPAA and Healthcare industry experience preferred
- Ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization
- Admitted to Tennessee bar or qualified to work in-house, or eligible to do so in Tennessee
- Juris Doctorate from accredited law school
