Join the An American Multinational Retail Corporation Health & Wellness Legal Team as a Senior Counsel supporting An American Multinational Retail Corporation Pharmacy business. In this critical role you'll advise business leaders on legal obligations and risks while serving as a strategic legal advisor on complex pharmacy legal matters for the world's largest retailer.

What you'll do...

Counsel on matters related to prescription drug distribution, pharmacy licensure, and compliance with federal and state regulations.
Ensure practical compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including FDA, DEA, and state pharmacy board rules.
Advise on legislative and policy matters impacting the future of the pharmacy industry.
Advise on compliance programs and training for pharmacy operations.
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts related to pharmacy services.
Provide legal support in contract disputes and negotiations.
Assist in the development and enforcement of internal policies and procedures related to pharmacy operations.
Monitor changes in relevant laws and regulations and advise on necessary policy updates.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including compliance, operations, and risk management, to provide integrated legal support.
Serve as a key legal resource for senior management and other stakeholders.
Advise the business team on complex matters with sometimes ambiguous and conflicting regulations.
Occasionally manage outside counsel and ensure budget discipline.

Subject matter expert in pharmacy law, pharmacy compliance, pharmacy technology, payor relationships and/or pharmaceutical supplier agreements or Board of Pharmacy interactions.
