Description:
In this role, you could look forward to:- Being a part of a collaborative legal team
- Working directly with business unit representatives to draft and negotiate client, partner, and other commercial contracts for merchant-facing businesses
- Advising the business on legal, contractual, and risk matters impacting their areas of responsibility
- Interacting with corporate specialists regarding finance, audit, tax, technology, marketing, IP, privacy, and regulatory matters
- Developing and maintaining forms of contracts and other legal documentation
What you need to have:
- JD from accredited law school
- Licensed to practice, or ability to become licensed to practice, and in good standing with no disciplinary record, in appropriate jurisdiction.
- 5+ years of experience practicing law, preferably, negotiating, drafting, and redlining contracts.
What we would like for you to have:
- Credit card, payments, or banking industry experience.
- Experience interacting with senior business leaders, either as in-house or outside counsel
- Exposure to financial services and technology contracts
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
This role is not eligible to be performed in Colorado, California, Hawaii, New York or Washington.
