Description:Stinson LLP seeks an Associate Attorney with 1 – 3 years of real estate experience to join our Dallas office.
Our nationally recognized commercial real estate practice represents developers, institutional investors, lenders, REITs, private equity funds, hospitality companies, and other clients in complex real estate transactions throughout the United States. Our attorneys routinely collaborate across offices on sophisticated transactions nationwide, providing attorneys with broad exposure to clients, industries, and deal structures.
Responsibilities:
- Support a dedicated real estate practice serving longstanding national homebuilding clients, with the opportunity to diversify experience through additional matters outside the core client portfolio, alongside other attorneys in Dallas and other Stinson offices;
- Handle acquisitions and other real estate transactions related to residential housing subdivisions and land development;
- Conduct title and survey review, and manage easement, leasing, and finance-related matters tied to subdivision development;
- Manage a substantial and consistent volume of active matters, requiring strong organizational skills and the ability to triage competing deadlines; and
- Participate in daily and weekly update calls to stay closely coordinated with the broader team; join quarterly Real Estate division trainings.
Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of real estate experience preferred; candidates with a strong work ethic and eagerness to build deep subject-matter expertise are encouraged to apply;
- Demonstrated ability to manage a high volume of matters simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment;
- Strong multi-tasking skills and a proactive approach to client service;
- Candidates must possess excellent academic credentials and have strong research, writing, analytical, organizational and communication skills; and
- Must be based in Dallas and must have an active license or ability to waive-in to practice law in Texas.
