Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled and motivated Pre-litigation Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have some plaintiff background in personal injury law. This role requires the ability to manage high value cases in the pre-lit phase to maximize case value. This position offers a lucrative compensation package.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage pre-litigation matters in California from Intake to Settlement;
- Provide supervison to California Pre-Litigation team;
- Responsible for the medical management, including reviewing all medical reports and medical recommendations by treating medical providers;
- Assist and direct case managers with day-to-day management of medical treatment of pre-litigation matters;
- Assist and direct investigation on all pre-litigation and potential litigation matters
- Perform legal research on relevant statutes, regulations, and case law during the pre-litigation process throughout the course of pre-litigation matters
- Implement quality assurance measures to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of pre-litigation processes
- Ability to Identify matters that are headed to litigation and build a good foundation in Litigation
- Directly report to Partners and Management
- Other duties as assigned by Management.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in California.
- Strong knowledge of personal injury law.
- Proven negotiation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts clearly.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
