Description:


Plaintiff's personal injury law firm located in Clifton, New Jersey seeks an experienced attorney with prior New Jersey PIP Arbitration experience. The firm offers competitive benefits and compensation packages including vacation time and health benefits. Salary commensurate with experience.

Requirements:
  • A JD from an accredited law school
  • Admission to practice in the state of New Jersey and in good standing
  • New Jersey Bar (Required)
  • Prior NJ PIP Arbitration and or Personal Injury experience 1-3 years

Responsibilities:
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, and correspondence to clients and opposing counsel, motions
  • Conduct interviews with clients to gather necessary information for case development
  • Spanish speaking is a plus
  • Must attend arbitration hearings as needed(mostly via zoom)
  • Able to perform under pressure
  • Have extraordinary interpersonal and organizational skills; and
  • Prefer knowledge of Microsoft applications and ability to adapt to internal case management systems
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills - ability to communicate effectively with attorneys and adjusters
  • Familiarity with PIP arbitration, billing, NJ fee schedule, file review, documents on Forthright, uploading and filing arbitration statements and submissions, and fee scheduling, CPT codes
  • Proficient in legal research, particularly in PIP arbitration
  • Strong legal administrative skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Excellent writing skills for drafting clear and concise legal documents
  • Familiarity with law office procedures and protocols
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to maintain accurate records
  • Utilize your strong analytical, research, and writing skills to build compelling cases
  • Manage deadlines for filing documents and responding to inquiries from clients and courts
  • Collaborate with other legal professionals within the firm to ensure comprehensive case management.
