Isaacs & Isaacs is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Pre-Litigation Attorney to join our growing Louisville-area practice.

In this role, you will manage a high-volume caseload of primarily motor vehicle accident claims from initial investigation through settlement or transfer to litigation. You will serve as a trusted advocate for clients, evaluate damages, negotiate with insurance carriers, and work closely with our legal team to pursue fair compensation.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of plaintiff-side personal injury pre-litigation experience, strong client communication skills, and the ability to independently manage cases in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do:
  • Manage a high-volume caseload of personal injury matters through the pre-litigation process
  • Provide responsive, compassionate service and maintain strong client relationships
  • Investigate liability, insurance coverage, injuries, and damages
  • Gather and review medical records, bills, accident reports, wage-loss documentation, and other evidence
  • Guide clients through each stage of the claims process
  • Evaluate case value and develop effective settlement strategies
  • Prepare and submit persuasive settlement demands
  • Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and defense representatives
  • Coordinate with medical providers, experts, and other outside professionals
  • Identify cases that require litigation and collaborate with the litigation team to ensure an effective transition
  • Participate in relevant training programs, seminars, and professional-development opportunities

Requirements:
Required Qualifications:
  • Active Kentucky law license in good standing; candidates who completed the Uniform Bar Examination within the past four years and are willing and eligible to obtain Kentucky licensure may also be considered
  • At least two years of personal injury pre-litigation experience
  • Experience managing a high-volume personal injury caseload
  • Strong understanding of personal injury claims, insurance practices, and applicable laws
  • Demonstrated settlement-negotiation and case-evaluation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organization, time-management, and follow-through
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys and legal support staff
  • Commitment to providing exceptional client service

Preferred Qualification:
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish

Compensation:
This position begins with a base salary plus commission structure and transitions to commission-only compensation after the first year.
