A Personal Injury Attorney is seeking a skilled and successful personal injury attorney to join our growing team and help our clients find justice and compensation for their injuries. Our ideal candidate will handle case files from start to finish, have excellent credentials, a passion for helping people, and a minimum of 2 - 5 years of successful personal injury litigation and trial case experience. - Maintain updated status documentation of all case files in the case management system
- Represent the client at hearings, trials, mediations, depositions, and litigation
- Settle on the clients' behalf when appropriate and negotiate reasonable agreements
- Supervise and delegate tasks to the team of legal assistants, personal injury paralegals, case managers, litigation paralegals, and legal secretary
- Perform research on case law and premises liability, and gather insurance policies, medical expenses, medical records, and other evidence relevant to the case
Qualifications:
- Up-to-date knowledge of personal injury law/ tort law, wrongful death, civil and family law, medical terminology, and medical malpractice is imperative
- Bachelor's degree and a J.D. degree is required
- Must be computer proficient
- Superb drafting, research, negotiation, and communication skills are preferred
- 3 years of experience in personal injury litigation or trial experience in medical malpractice, personal injury, wrongful death, or civil litigation practice areas is needed
