Role Description:This is a remote contract role for a Patent Litigation Attorney. The Attorney will be responsible for conducting legal research, drafting motions, representing clients in court trials, and conducting depositions. When necessary, the Attorney will also provide counsel on patent portfolio management and intellectual property strategy. This role requires strong analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and remotely.
Qualifications:
- Expertise in patent law and litigation
- Experience with drafting legal motions and representing clients in court
- Knowledge of court procedures and trial processes
- Ability to conduct effective depositions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Bachelor's degree in EE, MechE, CS, Physics, or related fields, advanced degree preferred
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
