Our firm is seeking a senior attorney to join our Massachusetts office. This role offers a motivated and ambitious attorney the opportunity to lead and develop a team of associate attorneys throughout the life cycle of cases. This person will also have the unique opportunity to help grow our firm's footprint in the Northeast.Responsibilities:
- Handling cases from inception through resolution with minimal supervision
- Represent clients in court and before government agencies
- Prepare and draft legal documents on behalf of clients
- Negotiate settlements
- Prepare consistent reporting for clients detailing significant case developments
- Lead, manage, and develop a team of associate attorneys
Requirements:
- Licensed to practice and in good standing in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- 8+ years of defense litigation experience
- Experience with trucking and transportation law
- Prior management and/or leadership experience
- 1st Chair trial experience highly preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
