Part-Time Law Clerk position available for recent graduates and recently licensed attorneys

Part-time law clerk position is available with The Cochran Firm, DC (www.cochranfirmdc.com) to assist attorneys in a fast paced and exciting plaintiff-side personal injury and medical malpractice firm involving major cases and interesting issues. The position provides opportunity for true hands-on experience and a significant role in the litigation of high-profile cases including investigation, discovery, and trial.

Requirements:

An understanding of basic legal concepts, terminology, principles
Strong research and writing capabilities
Excellent organizational skills
Attention to detail
Computer experience
Previous experience in a personal injury firm (optional but highly preferred)

Position is available immediately. Candidates must be able to commit to an average of 25-30 hours per week. Our state-of-the-art office, complete with ergonomic workstations, is located one block from the Farragut North and Farragut West metro stations in the heart of Washington, D.C.

Compensation is on an hourly basis.
