Eversheds Sutherland is seeking a student to join its nationally recognized Tax Controversy Practice as an Extern in the Washington, DC office. This opportunity is designed for students interested in federal tax controversy, tax administration, and dispute resolution, providing meaningful exposure to sophisticated matters involving the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), administrative proceedings, and federal tax litigation.The Extern will work alongside attorneys who advise domestic and multinational corporations on complex tax controversy matters and represent clients throughout the examination, appeals, alternative dispute resolution, and litigation processes. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop practical skills within one of the nation's leading tax practices.
