Description:

Miller Nash is seeking an associate with one to four years of experience to join its Bankruptcy and Creditors' Rights practice team in either our Seattle or Portland office. Experience with bankruptcy, receivership, and related insolvency proceedings is preferred.

The ideal candidate will have experience representing creditors in state and federal court proceedings involving commercial loans, including collection and lender liability matters, as well as loan workouts and commercial bankruptcy cases. Experience representing trustees or receivers is a plus.

We are looking for a team member who is hard working and responsive, exercises good judgment under pressure, has excellent research and writing skills, is self-directed while maintaining the ability to work in a team environment, and will be ready to hit the ground running on pending cases and immediate client needs.

Flexible hybrid work arrangements are available to all Miller Nash attorneys. Admission to the Oregon and Washington State Bars is preferred, with active membership in at least one state bar required. Candidates barred in both Oregon and Washington are strongly encouraged to apply. Bankruptcy clerkship experience is a plus.

All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
