Description:

The New York office of Reed Smith is seeking a Mid-Level to Senior Associate to join the Global Corporate Group. Candidates should have 4-6 years of experience representing private equity funds, institutional investors, family offices, alternative asset managers, and their portfolio companies in leveraged buy-outs, add-on acquisitions, divestitures, growth investments, strategic joint ventures, and general corporate portfolio company matters to join our New York office. Successful candidates will have hands on drafting and negotiating experience for complex M&A and private equity transactions and related investment agreements and experience as a key member of deal teams, including responsibility for producing acquisition, equity and related documents in a client-ready format, and running key aspects of transactions, from due diligence through closing, across a range of transaction sizes, but preferably with experience in the middle market. Candidates must be an active member of the New York state bar.

$265,000 - 390,000. This represents the presently-anticipated low and high end of Reed Smith's pay range for this position. Actual pay may vary based on various factors, including but not limited to location and experience.
