General Summary:The New York office of Alston & Bird is looking for a team member to support its rapidly expanding Investment Funds team. A background in investment management and fund formation is required. The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years experience. Our dynamic, multi-disciplinary team is known for representing private equity funds, hedge funds, private credit funds, real estate funds, hybrid funds, and other types of funds employing alternative investment strategies. There is also an opportunity to learn and work on matters involving retail alternative funds, such as BDCs, interval funds, and closed-end funds. The ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit and solid interpersonal skills, as this role involves direct client contact and business development acumen. The salary range for this position is $260,000 - $390,000 and represents the Firm's good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at this time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, and locations. This range is specific to our New York City office and may not be applicable to other locations.
