- Admitted to practice in Texas (or sitting for 2025 Bar Exam)
- 0-5 years of litigation experience is preferred
- Experience with issues involving real estate or valuation is preferred
- Superior analytical skills and ability to navigate novel legal issues
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Collaborate with managing attorneys and Shareholders to facilitate management of litigation docket and general counsel questions
- Independently manage a litigation caseload, working cases from beginning to end
- Regularly handle court appearances, written discovery, motion practice, and depositions
A Legal Representation & Litigation Law Firm is seeking to hire an Associate Attorney to work in its litigation department, in our Round Rock, TX office. As an Associate Attorney you will be represent various governmental entities across the State of Texas. This position requires a blend of managing a litigation caseload and providing general counsel services to the Firm's clients when requested.
At the outset, the candidate will assist the managing attorneys with their current caseload. This will involve conducting legal research; drafting motions; drafting/responding to discovery; preparing for trial; and any other tasks requested by the managing attorneys. After a period of time, the candidate will transition into handling his or her own docket.
