We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Criminal Defense & Family Law Attorney to join our growing practice. The ideal candidate is passionate about protecting clients' rights in criminal proceedings while also guiding families through sensitive and impactful domestic matters. This position offers the opportunity to manage a diverse caseload and make a meaningful difference in clients' lives during some of their most challenging moments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Represent clients in criminal cases at the state and/or federal level
  • Handle family law matters including divorce, child custody, child support, modifications, enforcement actions, and protective orders
  • Draft and file pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal briefs
  • Conduct client consultations, evaluate cases, and advise on legal strategies
  • Perform legal research and investigative work to support case development
  • Negotiate plea agreements in criminal matters and settlements in family law disputes
  • Advocate for clients at hearings, mediations, depositions, pre-trial conferences, and trials
  • Maintain strong, consistent communication with clients and manage expectations
  • Work collaboratively with paralegals, assistants, and fellow attorneys to ensure efficient case management

Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Licensed and in good standing in TX (MO, KS, IL a plus)
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in criminal defense and/or family law
  • Strong litigation, negotiation, and courtroom advocacy skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to manage a high-volume, diverse caseload independently
  • Commitment to ethical practice and client advocacy

Schedule:
  • Full-time, Monday–Friday
  • No weekends (on-call availability may apply for criminal matters)
  • Compensation: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per yea
