This position demands strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, and the ability to independently manage and lead trial proceedings.
Responsibilities:
Litigation Management:
- Handle a caseload of litigation matters from initiation to resolution.
- Develop and implement effective litigation strategies.
- Conduct legal research and provide insightful advice to clients.
Trial Advocacy:
- Serve as the first-chair trial attorney in various litigation cases.
- Prepare and present compelling arguments in court.
- Direct and manage trial teams for successful trial outcomes.
Client Interaction:
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Communicate effectively with clients, updating them on case developments.
Legal Research and Analysis:
- Stay current with legal developments and precedents.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in the California State Bar.
- Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a first-chair trial attorney.
- Strong understanding of California state and federal laws.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
