Description:

Kemeny, Ramp & Renaud, LLC is seeking an associate attorney with at least one year of civil litigation experience to join our East Brunswick, New Jersey office.

The ideal candidate will have litigation experience in one or more of the following practice areas:
  • Personal injury
  • Estate and probate litigation
  • Guardianship proceedings
  • Business and commercial litigation
  • General equity and other Chancery matters

The successful candidate must be admitted to practice in New Jersey and possess excellent legal research, writing, analytical, and interpersonal skills. Strong academic credentials, sound professional judgment, careful attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues are also important.

Candidates should have hands-on experience preparing pleadings, written discovery, motions, briefs, and other litigation-related documents. Experience conducting or defending depositions, appearing in court, arguing motions, managing discovery, or independently handling litigation matters is preferred but not required. The position is well suited for an attorney who is prepared to assume meaningful responsibility while continuing to develop under the guidance of experienced litigators.

The anticipated base salary range is $110,000 to $135,000, commensurate with the candidate's experience, qualifications, writing ability, and capacity to manage litigation matters. Exceptional candidates may be considered above the stated range.

In addition to base salary, the firm:
  • Pays attorney origination fees and performance bonuses;
  • Provides health insurance benefits; and
  • Pays attorney-registration fees, bar-association dues, and approved continuing legal education expenses.
